Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: A specimen from Strines, Sheffield, 2.8.1907 (LSB coll.) was the only Yorkshire record until 1975 when a few moths were attracted to MV light at West Melton (Beaumont, 1978b). Since then it has proved to be quite widespread and fairly common in the southern half of VC63 and is showing signs of extending its range with records from elsewhere in the vice-county and more recently from VC64 as far north as Harrogate and from VC62 at York.
Argus 47, 2001-04:
VC65. Hutton Conyers, 20.7.2001, annually since; High Batts NR., 11.7.2003 (CHF, JCW, SPW). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
