Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species may have increased slightly over the past few years. Now reported as frequent or common from scattered sites in lowland areas over all five vice-counties. In at least one area it was commented that it had not been recorded prior to 1984 and other sources have suggested it has slowly moved north.
2012 (CHF): Common and widespread all over the county including some upland areas and numbers are stable. Since 2002 there has been a small but regular second brood in most years.
