Species Account


Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Taken occasionally in all five vice-counties wherever its foodplant (red campion) occurs.

2012 (CHF): Present in good numbers all over the county with no recent changes in numbers or distribution. This species is bivoltine in Yorkshire with two overlapping broods (current literature is incorrect).
