Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species has only been recorded from one location since Porritt (1883-86, 1904): Grass Wood near Grassington (VC64) in 1959 and again in 1962 (YNU, 1970). It has not been recorded since.

2012 (CHF): Still confined to its only site in the county but reported regularly as an adult and larvae on wild privet. A search of nearby woodland for larvae has been unsuccessful and it seems to be confined to a small area of the wood.
