Sutton & Beaumont, 1989:
VC63. Near Dunford Bridge, one case in 1900 by G. Rose (Porritt, 1901).
VC64. Recorded as occurring by HNM (AME).
2013 (CHF): There have been no more records in the county and we still do not know the origin of the record which appears as a VC64 dot on the map in MBGBI Vol 2. This is a species of moorland where the larvae construct a case coated longitudinally with heather fragments. It is usually low down and difficult to spot. It is quite possible that this species still exists in the west of the county.
