Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There are now records from all five vice-counties. Although widespread it is certainly not common and there are fewer localities than on the last list (YNU, 1970).

2012 (CHF): There are recent records from VCs 61, 2, 3 and 5 though it has not been seen in VC64 since 1987. Colonies are widely scattered and small numbers are reported, though 14 were seen at a site in VC63 in 2011. A colony in VC65 also has Cistus Forester close to the site and great care must be taken to separate these two species where they both occur.
