Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Very common and widely distributed throughout all five vice-counties.
2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across the county with an increase of numbers in recent years. Sometimes large numbers are trapped eg 668 at Haxby on 21.7.1996. Small numbers of a second generation have been noted more often in the last ten years.
