For the county, we have a total of 313 records from 124 sites. First recorded in 1883.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species has extended its range again in the last fifteen years and is now quite widespread in VC61. Elsewhere it has been recorded in VC62-65.
2012 (CHF): There are scattered records across the county, mostly from dry calcareous areas. Most common along the coast and in the Dales and absent from the south west. It can occasionally be locally common for example 88 on the magnesian limestone at Ellington Banks on 25.6.2010.
