Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Not recorded since Porritt (1883-86) when it was found in a few localities as far north as York. Apparently this species is still found in Lincolnshire (Duddington & Johnson, 1983) so a slight northwards range extension could see this species in the county once more.
2012 (CHF): There is no sign of this species coming back to Yorkshire. There are recent records in central Lincolnshire but nowhere else in the northern part of the country.
