Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This moth is still present in its best known Yorkshire site at Askham Bog (VC64) and it has also recently been reported from Thorne Moors, another old haunt.
2012 (CHF): All records since 1976 have been from Askham Bog where it is still occasionally recorded flying by day, coming to light or as larvae on yellow loosestrife. This is an uncommon species nationally and this is the most northerly colony.
