Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: A very local species in northern England. The Yorkshire headquarters of this species is at Spurn (VC61) but there are occasional inland reports.
Beaumont, 2002:
VC61. Spurn, 1990, none since (BRS); Withernsea, 19.6.1996 (M-CF).
Current status (CHF, 2011): Last record 1996; regular at Spurn in the 1970s and 80s and occasional at other sites, this species now seems to be extinct in the county. Populations further south are doing well and it might yet reappear.
