Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Thinly scattered but recorded from all five vice-counties. This species is said to come readily to sugar in small numbers and occasionally to light (PQW pers. comm.).

2012 (CHF): Widespread across lowland areas of the county but in small numbers - 80% of records are of single moths. Numbers appear to have increased in recent years and the range has expanded a little. Spurn had its first record in 2011.
