Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Generally frequent to common throughout all five vice-counties in a variety of grassy habitats. Occasionally a dark grey (melanic) form occurs.

2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across the county in both upland and lowland areas. It can be locally abundant eg 123 in Ribblesdale on 2.6.2011.
