Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Generally frequent and recorded over all five vice-counties. Most frequent in the south where it has been reported as more common than A. pulchrina (Haworth) in one area of VC63. In east VC61 it occurs in about equal numbers to that species. Elsewhere pulchrina seems to be the more common, although how much more varies from place to place.
2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across all five vice-counties. More common than Beautiful Golden Y in VC61 but less common in VC63 and 64. It flies about two weeks later.
