Current status (HEB, 2011): First recorded in the county at Spurn (VC61) in 1995 and 1998. From 2001 it expanded its range into VC63 and quickly became established at many localities in the south of Yorkshire with the first VC64 records coming in 2010. Now occurring commonly in many places, a total of 21 moths at West Melton on 21 July 2010 is exceptional but perhaps a sign of things to come.
