Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded from a wide range of habitats in all five vice-counties but seems to prefer rough grassy areas, such as on the Wolds and at the coast in VC61. It is frequently flushed from cover during the day but most Yorkshire records suggest that it is only weakly attracted to MV light or sugar and thus is not often trapped.
2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across the county and often disturbed in the daytime. Numbers are stable.
