Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Quite widespread and fairly common in the damper parts of moorland localities in vice-counties 62 to 64.

Beaumont, 2002:
VC65. Low Row, 28.7.1995 det. HEB (TMW). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 60, 2010: This moth of boggy moorland has been recorded away from its preferred habitat more frequently in 2010.
