Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There are very few light trap records for this species, possibly due to its relatively late flight period, but larvae can be found in many places where there is plenty of broom, especially in vice-counties 63 and 64. There are few recent records from VC61 where native broom is rather local, and it has been suggested that the lack of records from Skipwith Common may be due to a reduction in the foodplant (SMJ pers. comm.).
2012 (CHF): Local in the county in areas with broom. We have recent records for most of the county with the exception of VC65 where it has not been seen for some time.
