Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Widely recorded in all five vice-counties and often common but always most numerous in well wooded localities. There is some evidence of an increase in the numbers of this species over the last decade.
2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across the county and numbers can be large in woodland eg 103 at Elland on 31.7.2002.
