Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Still found at its two best known Yorkshire sites, Skipwith and Strensall Commons. This species has been recorded from other sites in recent years and would appear to be getting less local.

2012 (CHF): Still local in central Yorkshire on heathland and in open woodland but numbers have increased a little in the last few years and we have recent records from some new sites. It can be quite numerous where it does occur eg 103 at Pilmoor on 2.7.2011.
