Species Account

Argus 47, 2004:
VC65. High Batts NR, two 11.7.2003 (CHF, JCW, SPW). NEW COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 60, 2010: All previous records have come from High Batts NR following its discovery there in 2006.
VC64. Hackfall Woods, two on 9.7.2010 (CHF, JCW,DMB); Bellflask, 17 &29.6 and 3.7.2010 (BM). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Current status (HEB, 2011): This moth has a mainly southern distribution but it extends as far as Lancashire in western England. It was first recorded at High Batts N.R. (VC65) in 2003 with further moths subsequently indicating a resident, if low level, population. A slight extension of range with moths found at Hackfall Woods and Bellflask (VC64) in 2010.
