Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded from wooded areas in all five vice-counties but only found frequently in vice-counties 62 to 64.
2012 (CHF): Numbers have declined significantly in the last twenty years and this is no longer a common moth in the county. Still unusual in the east of VC61 and in VC65.
