Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Appears now to be rather local with recent records from four vice-counties. Although we have no VC65 record, it has been recorded in the Rothamsted Insect Survey trap in Middleton-on-Teesdale (VC66) (Dunn & Parrack, 1986) and may well occur along our northern boundary in this area.
Argus 47, 2001-04:
VC65. High Batts, 18.7.1985 (SPW). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
2012 (CHF): Local but fairly widespread in the lowlands of the centre and the east of the county in areas with sallows. An increased number of records in recent years.
