Species Account

Similar species: Wood Carpet.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Recorded from all five vice-counties and often seen more during the day when flushed from cover than at light. Several species of bedstraw are used as larval foodplants and P.Q. Winter reports finding larvae on hedge bedstraw and lady's bedstraw and observing ovipositing on cleavers.

2012 (CHF): Still extremely common and occurs all over the county.
