Beaumont, 2002:
VC63. Bowden Housteads Wood, several at MV light 23.7.1999 (HEB), the first County record for almost one hundred years; Wintersett Country Park, 3.7.2000 det. HEB (PSm, PM et. al.). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 47, 2001-04: There has been an increase in records over the past four years.
VC61. Eastrington, 3.8.2001 det. HEB (ASE); Spurn, 28.7.2002 (BRS). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD
VC64. Tadcaster, 7.8.2002 det. HEB (DB); Harlow Carr Gardens, 3.8.2004 (EDC). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Current status (HEB, 2011): Apart from two old records listed by Porritt this moth was not seen in Yorkshire until 1999 when it was found at Bowden Housteads Wood, Sheffield (VC63). It has since spread and although it remains quite local is now recorded from all five Yorkshire vice-counties.
