Current status (HEB, 2011): Apart from two old records listed by Porritt this moth was not seen in Yorkshire until 1999 when it was found at Bowden Housteads Wood, Sheffield (VC63). It has since spread and although it remains quite local is now recorded from all five Yorkshire vice-counties.
