Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989:There were two old unconfirmed reports of this species mentioned in the last list (YNU, 1970) but a later one which had been overlooked is below. There are also two specimens in the Sheldon collection in Sheffield, but many of Sheldon's records seem suspect and these must also be in doubt. Dunn and Parrack (1986) say that it occasionally gets as far north as Durham, therefore it is possible that our records are genuine.

2012 (CHF): There are no recent records in the north of England and these unconfirmed records are not enough for this species to be on the county list.
