For the county, we have a total of 3 records from 2 sites. First recorded in 1842.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Only recorded once since Porritt (1883-86). A worn specimen was seen at Muston, near Filey (VC61), visiting ragwort flowers during the afternoon of 14.8.1968, by P.Q. Winter. Permanent colonies of this species in Britain are now restricted to the Norfolk and Suffolk Brecklands (Skinner, 1984).
Current status (CHF, 2011): A single record, 1968, of a probable immigrant. The main resident population is in the Breckland area.
