Species Account


Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Generally more frequent than H. tarsipennalis (Treitschke) but still not often common.

2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across the county. Numbers are stable. Usually recorded in smaller numbers than Fan-foot though it can be common at some sites eg 26 at Hackfall Woods on 9/7/2010.
