Species Account


Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: There are two recent records of this rare migrant in Yorkshire. Two previously unmentioned older records have also come to light.
VC61. Rudston, 19.9.1980 (ASE).
VC63. Sheffield: Handsworth, one October 1965, and Bents Green Road, one 1.11.1968 (Harrison & Smellie, 1979); Meltham, Huddersfield, 23.10.1988 (M. Tunmore).

Argus 47, 2001-04:
VC65. Hutton Conyers, 24.10.2002 (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): There have been two more records, Whitby in 2005 and Spurn in 2009.
