Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This scarce moth has been reported from several new locations since 1970.

VC65. Hutton Conyers, 28.5.2003 (CHF). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
2012 (CHF): A very variable species with scattered records from broad-leaved woodland with aspen and poplar. Absent from areas of high ground in the north and north west but doing fairly well in the county.
