Species Account


Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Formerly recorded from several localities in vice-counties 62 to 64, sometimes commonly, but there has been no record during the present century. Goater (1986) comments that its status as a resident British species is uncertain.

VC61. Spurn, 9.7.1989, 12.8 & 2.9.1994 (BRS); Lower Derwent Valley NNR, several during August 1995 (CR); Allerthorpe Common, four 1.8.1995, 3.8.1995 (NG, BE); Muston, 10 & 13.8.1995 (PQW). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 47, 2004: There have been a number of records of this immigrant moth in the county since the mid-1990's, a trend that has continued during the past four years.
