For the county, we have a total of 23 records from 15 sites. First recorded in 1977.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species was first taken in Yorkshire at MV light at Dalby Forest, near Pickering (VC62) on 27 August 1977 by P.Q. Winter and S.M. Jackson. The next specimen to appear was taken near the coast in VC61 in 1983 and two more specimens have now been taken in 1987.
2012 (CHF): After a flush of records in the 1980s and 1990s, this moth has almost disappeared and is very rarely reported now. It is generally very scarce in the north of England.
