Species Account


Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species has spread again since declining earlier in the century (YNU, 1970). Now recorded from all five vice-counties with regular records from some areas.

2012 (CHF): Widespread in lowland Yorkshire where it is doing well, though in VC63 it is less common and only present in the east. The first example of a second brood individual in the county occurred at North Ferriby on 28.8.2011.
