Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Widely distributed and often quite frequent.

2012 (CHF): Widespread across the county but numbers have declined recently. The Rothamsted figures show an 81% fall between 1968 and 2002. Most common in coastal areas particularly at Spurn which has given us 35% of all records of this species.
