Species Account

Similar species: 0140 Nematopogon swammerdamella.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Widespread and very common, even in open habitats, throughout all five vice-counties.

2013 (CHF): Widespread and common throughout the county in a variety of habitats and more likely to be found in open habitats and gardens than the similar but much larger Nematopogon swammerdamella. Like other members of the genus it can be disturbed in the daytime and also comes to light.
