Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: One of the easier Minors to distinguish. This species does appear to be genuinely common in all five vice-counties. In VC61 it has been noted to be particularly numerous in rough grassland in both wet and dry sites (PQW).

2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across the county in grassy places in both upland and lowland areas. No recent changes in numbers or distribution. The biggest numbers come from the Spurn area eg 273 at Spurn on 15.6.1995.
