For the county, we have a total of 40 records from 29 sites. First recorded in 1883.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Very local, occurring only in small numbers. Most records are from vice-counties 62 and 63 where it is reported quite regularly, mainly in woodland habitats. Widespread and often common in lower areas and occasional elsewhere in all five vice-counties.
