Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Widespread in vice-counties 61 to 64 and often common among sallows in the south of the County. Only recorded from one site in the south of VC65 (Baldersby St James, 1982 and 1984 (RIS trap 315, TAP)).
2012 (CHF): Widespread and common across most of the county and numbers seem to have increased a little recently. This species flies a little later than the other Orthosia species.
