Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Very local in Yorkshire although recorded from a few more sites than in previous years. Lorimer (MBGBI 9) suggests that this species is more widespread than O. populeti (Fabricius).
2012 (CHF): There are scattered records from various sites in the county particularly from or near our lowland heaths. This is not a common moth in the county and a photograph or specimen is needed for verification unless the recorder is very familiar with it.
