Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: A scarce but regular immigrant to southern England which seldom occurs as far north as Yorkshire.
VC63. Wath-on-Dearne, one male to MV light 5.9.1958 (Seago, 1959).

Beaumont, 2002: This is only the second Yorkshire record of this immigrant moth.
VC63. Wintersett Country Park, 1.10.2000 (PSm, PM et. al.)

Argus 54, 2007: Although this is the fourth county record of this immigrant moth, surprisingly it is the first from a coastal locality, all three previous records having been from VC63.
