Similar species: 0972 Dark Fruit-tree Tortrix Pandemis heparana.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Quite widespread and recorded from all five vice-counties but numbers vary considerably across the County. It is most numerous in the north, being common to abundant in vice-counties 62 an 65, less frequent elsewhere.
