For the county, we have a total of 5505 records from 498 sites. First recorded in 1857.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Often recorded as 'frequent' in vice-counties 63 and 64 but records are scarce in the other three vice-counties. Specimens should be checked carefully to separate any C. chloerata (Mabille) but it is unwise to use superficial characters alone (AMR pers. comm.).
2012 (CHF): Common and widespread across all five vice-counties.
