Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species is probably only resident in the Norfolk Broads in Britain but is occasionally taken as a vagrant elsewhere. Such a specimen was taken at Kettlethorpe, near Wakefield (VC63) on 1.8.1982 by R. Council. A fresh specimen was also taken in Lincolnshire (VC54) in the same year (Duddington & Johnson, 1983). Possibly these were both from the same dispersal movement.

Beaumont, 2002:
VC61. Spurn, 12.7.1995 (BRS). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2012 (CHF): A third record for the county was trapped at Hunmanby Gap on 23.7.2009.
