For the county, we have a total of 307 records from 104 sites. First recorded in 1929.
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: This species was only reported from two sites previously (YNU, 1970). It is now known to be more widespread where red bartsia grows.
2012 (CHF): Local in the centre and east of the county where its foodplant occurs. Numbers have reduced a little recently.
