Species Account

Most records are of leaf mines.

Similar species: Best identified from the similar Phyllonoryter sorbi and Phyllonoryter mespilella by the foodplant, usually Hawthorn.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Widespread and common among hawthorn throughout all five vice-counties.
