Species Account

Most records are of leaf mines.

Beaumont, 2002:
VC62. Appletree Village and Wiggington, York, larval mines, moths reared 19.3.2000 (MRB). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
VC63. Rossington, 1998, mines on Norway Maple, reared; Red House Plantation, Doncaster, reared 22-30.3.1999 (RIH); Denaby Ings, 18.10.1998, mines common on Norway maple, reared April 1999 (HEB). NEW COUNTY RECORD.

Argus 69, 2013: First found in Yorkshire in 1998 this moth has become widespread and is now recorded from all five vice-counties.
VC61. Hull University, larval mines on Norway maple, 9.10.2013 (ADN); Allerthorpe Common, larval mines 24.10.2013 (CHF); Cottingham, larval mines 16.11.2013 (ADN). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
