Species Account


Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Very local, but thinly distributed in deciduous woodland over much of the County. Occasionally seen during the day, it has been observed alighting on the ground where it is well camouflaged amongst the dead leaves from the previous autumn (PQW pers. comm.).

2012 (CHF): This is very much a moth of broad-leaved woodland on the edges of the uplands in the north of the county - well seen on the relief map. Quite local and only reported in small numbers. There are no recent records from the southern half of the county
