Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Widespread and often abundant throughout all five vice-counties.

Beaumont, 2002: Emmet (1988) commented on the voltinism of this species which the literature gave as occurring May to July on a single generation. Previous Yorkshire records were all within that range but there have been two recently which indicate additional generations (Beaumont, 2000a).
