Species Account

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Thinly distributed and uncommon, there is no record from VC61.

VC61. Fulford Ings, York, 19.7.1990 (MRB); Heslington, July 1994, det. HEB (TJC). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.

2013 (CHF): A very local moth of damp areas in the county where the larvae probably feed on water mint. The white eyecaps and the oblique brown stripes on the white wings are characteristic. All records since 2000 have been from Staveley Nature Reserve.
