Species Account
Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Probably under-recorded, since Skinner (1984) states it is rarely noted in the adult stage except occasionally at light. There are few recent records.
Argus 52, 2006: The first record since 1996.
VC63. Stainton, larvae on barberry (Berberis vulgaris) 28.6.2006 (MG). NEW VICE-COUNTY RECORD.
2012 (CHF): Still very local in the county and infrequently recorded with only two post-2000 records. Larval searches on barberry might show that this species is commoner than we think.
